A special training event is being held for community members with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department 8th Annual International Gang Conference, held in Las Vegas at the Rivera Hotel and Casino February 12th and 13th, 2015.
Community members such as service providers, faith based leaders and volunteers, school teachers and administrators, youth advocates and parents, and business owners, are invited to attend, and receive information on important topics affecting our community, such as cyber bullying, emergency preparedness, gang violence, human trafficking and other important topics. Cost is $25.00 for both days, and includes breakfast and free giveaways.
