Plumas County Historical Donkey Walks
Jamison Canyon Emigrant Trail & Wagon Road
Hike Dates: Jamison Canyon:  October 16
Snake Lake – Gopher Hill Loop -Hike Dates:   September 18
Trips are $50 per person as museum members and $75 for non-members (Includes on year’s membership). We will provide bottled water, guide services, the donkeys to pack your lunches, the water and extra items. These trips are on a first-come-first-served basis and require pre-registration and full payment at that time. A minimum of 5 participants is required for any trip to proceed. We can accommodate a maximum of 15 participants. Trips must meet the minimum number of participants at least one week in advance of the trip. If less than 5 participants register for a trip, your registration fees will be refunded in full. IMPORTANT! Once a trip is booked with 5 or more participants, cancellations less than one week before the trip will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Trips vary in mileage and length of time. We have tried to estimate them as closely as possible, but it is best to plan to spend all day engaged in this activity. We strongly encourage you to be in good walking condition prior to these hikes. Although they are not particularly strenuous, as with any type of physical exercise you should know your strengths, weaknesses and limits. Consult your physician if you are unsure. Revenue from these walks goes toward funding the ongoing operations of YOUR Plumas County Museum. We Appreciate Your Support!
