VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) is an IRS-sponsored programs operated by local IRS trained and certified volunteers to provide FREE, CONFIDENTIAL and SECURE preparation and e-filing of Federal and State income taxes for taxpayers who qualify.
For the 2016 tax year (filed in 2017), this service is available for basic returns with gross income up to $55,000.
Our first tax preparation site day is Thursday, February 2, 2017. We are open only on Thursdays in the afternoons in Woodland Park.
For Cripple Creek ... only two Saturdays will be scheduled ... in the mornings ... these quickly fill up.
