Travel the World through Art at Vesterheim’s Barnetimen (Children’s Hour)
Vesterheim, the national Norwegian-American museum and heritage center, invites all pre-school-aged children and their parents or caregivers to travel the world through art at Barnetimen (Children's Hour).
This month preschoolers will make binoculars or special glasses to look at landscapes from around the world and play a game of “I Spy” in the museum.
Meet at Vesterheim Museum, 520 W. Water Street. A snack is also provided. The program is led by Jennifer Kovarik, Vesterheim Youth Educator, and ArtHaus instructors Jenni and Eric Petersen-Brant.
Barnetimen is free of charge and meets the third Tuesday of each month. The program is geared toward 3-5 year olds, but all ages are welcome. No sign-up is necessary—come to one session or all of them.
