| Description: | Teacher workshop sponsored by the Alabama Holocaust Commission featuring Alexandra Zapruder, author of "Salvaged Pages: Young Writers' Diaries of the Holocaust." Teachers will receive reimbursement for substitute teacher, lunch, and a copy of Ms. Zapruder's book and DVD. Application for teachers is available online at www.alabamaholocaustcommission.org. There is a $25 application fee, refundable upon attendance. Deadline for applications is October 26, 2009. |
