| Description: | Monroe County Hospital's Spirit Committee will be collecting Thanksgiving Meals in a Bag to give to needy families in our hospital, oncology services, home health, area hospice, and local food banks. Our goal is to put 200 Thanksgiving Meals together. Each meal will contain the following:
1 Canned Ham, 1 can of candied yams, 1 can of green beans, 1 pk. of rolls, and a pound cake/ can of peaches. Please help us reach this important goal. Each bag cost $20.00 to purchase and will feed a family of 2-4 people. To purchase a bag you can come by the hospital to the switch board operator, or you can mail a check to MCH, 2016 South Alabama Ave., Monroeville, AL 36460. The bags will be distributed on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. If you would like to volunteer in the assembly process please contact Kim Sheffield, 251-743-7516 or Amy Dailey, 251-743-7538.
