Event Description
The Town Hall Theatre will host this box office blockbuster horror film for Halloween. Prepare to be scared when… A group of bullied kids band together when a shapeshifting demon, taking the appearance of clown, begins hunting children. When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries. Based on the Steven King novel, this horror film with a young cast and memorable villain (Pennywise) will debut 27 years after the original TV release. The number, 27, has several tie-ins including the sum of the release date numbers - 9/8/2017 and that Pennywise returns to the town every 27 years to kill as many people as possible.
