Event Name:Holiday Celebrity Golf Tournament and Toy Drive
Description:Due to the immediate fiscal crisis facing the six High School Sports Programs in the Mt Diablo Unified School District, Cindy Gerhsen, owner of Sunrise Bistro and founder of The Wellness City Challenge, has generously agreed to send all the profits from the Jeremy Brigham Celebrity Golf Tournament over to the United Mt Diablo Athletic Foundation.

Details:As Cindy states: "I still believe we need to get healthy meals and eating habits into all the schools, but this funding crisis is now and we must take action to keep High School Sports alive in the Mt Diablo Unified School District. My son-in-law, Jeremy Brigham is a huge supporter of school athletics and agrees 100 percent in the effort." The MDUSD Board votes on October 27 on cutting all the Winter Sports for the 6 High Schools.

The Make a Difference Foundation
Jeremy Brigham first became interested in local charity work during his his five years (1998-2003) as a tight end for the Oakland Raiders playing in Superbowl XXXVII. As an NFL player, he attended numerous charity golf tournaments as a celebrity, and local television host. Jeremy is heavily involved with giving back to the community. Along with his charity golf events, Jeremy is a member of the N.F.L. Alumni organization as well as donating his time to the PJFL (Pleasanton Junior Football Leagues) and other worthy bay area causes.
