Nevada Southern Railroad
Bring the kids (regardless of age) and have a fun time riding the train, coloring, doing a craft, and listening to a children's story. Purchase regular tickets to ride the train and join our Storytime Crew in the dining car of the train, on the regularly scheduled train runs (10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, or 2:30PM). We furnish the coloring pages and markers, craft materials, and the story. Sit with your kids, have fun, take photos or videos, and watch the beautiful desert scenery from the comfort of our train.
Children are provided coloring pages and markers, craft materials, and a story read by one of the museum volunteers on the 40 minute train ride from our station in Boulder City to Railroad Pass and return. You ride in the dining or ADA car in climate controlled comfort, and enjoy the beautiful desert scenery as we slowly ride the rails on the journey. Adult fare is $10.00, children 4 to 11 are $5.00, and those under 4 ride free. Dress comfortably, and enjoy the great Storytime train. You will want to take time for a further adventure in the community of Boulder City, for breakfast before the train ride or lunch after in one of the great restaurants in Boulder City, plus the fun shopping.
