“GET YOUR GREEN ON” THIS ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN HENDERSON, NEVADA
City celebrates Irish heritage with Parade, Festival, Car Show and Carnival
(Henderson, NV) – The 44th annual Sons of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival will be held in Henderson, Nevada, March 11-14. The family-friendly event will include a parade, carnival with games and rides, live entertainment, food booths including authentic irish food, a car show and more. Admission is free. Some activities may require paid admission.
The parade will be held Saturday, March 13 at 10 a.m. Over 100 parade entries including festive floats, Celtic dancers, bagpipers and marching bands will travel the mile-long route on Water Street, beginning at Ocean Avenue and ending at Victory Road. This year’s theme is “Rainbow & Pot of Gold.”
Last year’s event drew over 50,000 attendees.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival will benefit the St. Rose Foundation, an organization raising funds for St. Rose Hospital, a not-for-profit community hospital, to enhance services and technology to support the healthcare professionals in providing the best care for the patients.
