Tweens CONNECT in the Kitchen
Description:
Treat yourself to some Valentine fun during Decorah Public Library’s February Connect program. Tweens in fifth through eighth grade are invited to join Rachel Sandhorst and Lilly Jensen Monday February 11 at the Oneota Coop Kitchen Classroom
Participants will create beautiful watercolor art using natural dyes and make tasty treats as a way to celebrate each other for Valentine’s Day!
Connect is a program that focuses on disconnecting from technology, building positive friendships, and participating in a variety of healthy and challenging activities.
The program is free but space is limited to 18 participants, so please register in advance at www.decorah.lib.ia.us.
Save the date for another Connect adventure on Monday March 11. Participants will learn about India and experience the art of henna.
