Details
Polk Senior Games provides an annual series of competitive athletic and recreational events for men and women 50 years and over. The Games offer something for everyone - the serious competitor, the fun at heart, the seasoned athlete, and the physically challenged.
Two-week series of Olympic-style competition for men and women 50 and over as of December 31 of the competition year. Most events are grouped by gender in five-year age increments. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are presented in each event and age division. Polk County residency is not required.
Archery, Bag Toss (Cornhole), Basketball Shooting, Basketball 3 on 3, Billiards, Bocce, Bowling, Bowling Team, Bridge, Checkers, Chess, Cribbage, Dancing, Darts, Euchre, Field Events,Fishing, Golf Singles and Mixed Doubles, Golf Putt & Chip, Horseshoes, Lawn Bowling, Pepper, Pickleball, Powerlifting, Punt Pass Kick, Racquetball, Road Race 5K,
Scrabble, Senior Smarts,Pistol, Rifle, Skeet, Sporting Clays and Trap Shooting, Shuffleboard, Softball, Sudoku, Swimming,Table Tennis, Tennis, Track, Walking.
Registration begins the first week of January. Entries must be RECEIVED by Friday February 8, 2019. There is no late or on-site registration. Registration Booklets are mailed by request.
Entry fee is $10 for the first event and $3 for each additional event up to a maximum of $28. There are additional fees for Bowling, Golf, Archery, Shooting and team sports. Everyone receives a PSG T-shirt designed by artist Alison Lamons.
