The Ruth Bancroft Garden presents the 18th Annual Sculpture In the Garden: June 15 - July 14: 7 days a week. The Annual Sculpture in the Garden is a one-of-a-kind art event in the East Bay. The Ruth Bancroft Garden’s famous collection of rare and beautiful succulents features sculpture by artists from all over the West Coast. This year’s juried show can be experienced for the price of admission.

Driving and Parking Directions to the Garden
From SF/Oakland: Head East on CA-24, merge onto I-680
North. Exit at Treat Blvd and turn right. Go approximately one mile, then right at Bancroft Road. Make a U-Turn at Stratton Road. The Ruth Bancroft Garden will be on your right.
From Sacramento: Head West on I-80 and take the exit for
I-680 South. Exit at Treat Blvd and make the left at the light onto N Main St. Make the next left onto Treat Blvd. Go approximately one mile, then right at Bancroft Road. Make a U-Turn at Stratton Road. The Ruth Bancroft Garden will be on your right.
From San Jose: Head North on I-680. Exit at Ygnacio Blvd and turn right. Go approximately two and a half miles, then make a left onto Bancroft Road. The Ruth Bancroft Garden will be on your right.
Parking at the Garden:
Our Main Gate is located at 1552 Bancroft Road, but due to limited parking near the Office, we ask that you park at our North Entrance (the second entrance as you drive down Bancroft Road). Park in the gravel turnout in front of the Folly (the green gazebo) or on the left shoulder of the driveway under the eucalyptus trees. When those areas are full, continue to the back property, where the road gets wider, and park under the trees.
The Ruth Bancroft Garden 40th Anniversary The Ruth Bancroft Garden, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to preserve this exceptional example of garden design and to continue to develop its collection of water-conserving plants for the education and enjoyment of the public. All events are fundraisers, and 100% of the proceeds are used to maintain and operate the Garden.
