About Us

J C Peterson Consulting is a full service Wedding, Event Planning, and Travel Consulting Organization, with over 25 years experience in the wedding and events industry. Working with large and small organizations, and educational institutions, J C Peterson Consulting has been successful in developing, and implementing fundraising campaigns, conferences, seminars, workshops and retreats.

The President and owner, Jacquelyn Peterson, is a Certified Wedding and Event Planner, and an Accredited Cruise Travel Counselor. In 2004, travel services were added to the list of options offered to clients of J C Peterson Consulting, and in January 2006, J C Peterson Consulting Travel was added as a subsidiary and independent travel agency, offering host agency opportunities to other agents. In addition to specializing in European travel (specificially Italy, Greece, France, and Egypt), the agency also specialize in group travel, cruise vacations, and individual and family travel to Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Luxury travel also accounts for a large portion of the travel business for the organization.

The President has over 25 years teaching experience at the university and college level, having taught at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia for 17 years. She is presently an Adjunct Professor of Business at Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale, Virginia. A business owner, a mentor, an educator, who is very active in her church and community, and other service organizations, the President has an MBA in Finance, and a MA in Counseling and Psychological Services.
