Bring your SWAG and welcome Duncan Aviation to Utah County

Duncan Aviation is expanding and creating more jobs in Utah County over the next year.  Some of those new employees will be moving here (or contemplating a move) to Utah County from Battle Creek, Michigan, where the home office is located.
Let's welcome those potential new movers with wide-open arms!  A welcome package is being put together by the chambers throughout Utah Valley... we are planning on putting together 50 bags for those looking to move out to Utah County.
All items should be dropped off to the chamber office by Wednesday, Nov. 30th.  Please contact the chamber with any questions.

Become a Volunteer on a Chamber Committee

We are currently looking for volunteers to join us on our amazing chamber committees.  Help out with ribbon cuttings and the Business of the Month Awards with our Ambassador committee.  Swing the clubs and join our Golf Tournament Committee.  Come find out some of the other great events we will be hosting throughout the year.  We look forward to serving with you!

Send an e-mail to chamber@afcity.net and let us know that you are ready to serve.

Happy Thanksgiving

Join us for our December Christmas Lunch and Holiday Celebration!

17th Annual Project Teddy Bear- Bank of American Fork

It’s hard to believe that it has really been 17 years since “Project Teddy Bear” began.  It started with 197 stuffed animals and toys collected the first year, to what has now reached over 110,000 stuffed animals collected over the last 16 years.  That is truly amazing.  That is 110,000 smiles, hugs and thousands of times, love and comfort was brought into the lives of children who needed help, who were abused, lonely, neglected and in trauma. Yet, the most amazing thing about Project Teddy Bear, and the 110,000, is the fact that the wings beneath this project, has always been “Children helping Children”. There is great power in children helping children, and teaches us what this project is all about.  Children so quickly see and understand the need for little ones who need help, in circumstances they have no control over.
The kick-off for “Project Teddy Bear 2016” is November 17th, which is a little earlier than in previous years to give us more time to collect bears.  The presentation is scheduled for December 15th at 11:00 am in American Fork lobby (All are welcome to come and join the fun)
