For Immediate Release Employees of Larry H. Miller Dealerships Participate in Annual Day of Service 
 
ALBUQUERQUE (April 23, 2018) – More than 40 employees from five Larry H. Miller dealerships in Albuquerque will join together to volunteer in the community on Thursday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. –12:30 pm. during the Larry H. Miller Day of Service. This is an annual event that honors company founder, the late Larry H. Miller, on his                         birthday. 
 
WHAT:  In partnership with the City of Albuquerque and Lowe’s Home Improvement, employees will help                 revitalize the Joseph J. Baca community plaza. They will install solar lights, repaint the benches on the plaza, install and fuse additional park benches and tables, provide big colorful planters with NM native plants, repaint the plaza’s walkways, remove graffiti, paint the curbs to city specifications, refill decorative rock, and clean up the area by pulling weeds, removing trash, etc.   The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce is also a proud sponsor of the Larry H Miller Day of Service and is providing their parking facility for our volunteers.   Donut Mart owner,               Tahir Guaba, is providing coffee and donuts for our volunteers.

WHERE: Joseph J. Baca Plaza  Located on the corner of Fourth Street and Barelas Rd. SW 
 
WHY:  Larry H. Miller, who passed away in 2009, strongly supported giving back in the communities where he did business. The Miller family and LHM Group employees continue to carry on Larry’s legacy to “Go about doing good until there’s too much good in the world.” Since 2010, more than 9,744 employees have donated over 38,972 hours at 192 locations in seven states.  Media is invited to cover this community volunteer activity.
