About Ruben -

Ruben Reyes is a marketing executive for the New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation; a non-profit organization helping students and families plan, prepare, and pay for college for over 35 years.

Ruben has 17 years with the organization with previous roles as a technologist, outreach specialist and his current role as a marketing executive. As a technologist, he specialized in helping the organization and school partner’s transition to paperless technologies through the use of content management systems. As an outreach specialist, he has over 350 public speaking presentations supporting students and their family’s to post-secondary attainment.

He is active in the community through various committees, associations, and boards. He is passionate about helping all humanity to enrich their lives and wellbeing. A proud father of a college-bound twenty-first century teenager and advocate in helping young minds find their true strengths, passions and purpose. 

As a marketing executive Ruben travels to and works with post-secondary institutions in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas and California. Promoting and providing services related to student counseling and student communication technologies.

Why he joined the Education Committee - Part of our mission is helping students to post-secondary attainment; in-turn preparing students for our future workforce. We believe our mission aligns with AHCC - helping our New Mexico workforce succeed. As a member of the AHCC education committee, I hope to provide support and expertise in helping prepare our students to post-secondary education with an emphasis on helping students find their purpose and aim for a career that fits their interest. AHCC scholarships help students succeed, only if their paths are aligned with their strengths and true self-discovery.
