Alta Mira is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was incorporated in 1985 following the consolidation of two predecessor agencies, Albuquerque Special Preschool and Esperanza Para Nuestros Ninos. Alta Mira has continued the work of these organizations for over 30 years now.

As the knowledge base for supporting families has changed over the years so has Alta Mira, but we have maintained the core values on which we were founded - client care and respect for families as experts.

At Alta Mira, we value the uniqueness of each individual and the family he or she is a part of. Our focus is to support the natural integration of an individual's daily life into that of their family and community when providing Early Childhood Services and Family Support Services.
