Annette is of Greek descent, born and brought up in Tanzania, East Africa. She has lived in Greece, South Africa, France, Switzerland, United States, Italy, and travelled around England, Germany, Serbia, Turkey, and Egypt. Upon completion of her business management studies in Switzerland in 1978, she worked in Western Europe, South Eastern Europe, and the USA (Washington DC, Baltimore, MD, Twin Cities, MN, Sacramento, CA) in the business and hospitality fields in an administrative capacity.  Annette has received certifications in cross-cultural communication and behavior (The Transcultural Business Group, London, England) and international business, diplomatic, and hospitality etiquette and protocol (The European School of Protocol, Brussels, Belgium).
