Johnny Montoya Owner OnPoint Consulting Johnny Montoya recently founded On Point Consulting Group a boutique company that focuses on government affairs and regulatory consulting. Johnny most recently served as State Government Relations Director, for CenturyLink. Johnny led the team responsible for state legislative, local government and regulatory affairs in the state of New Mexico. As the state director, Johnny placed a strong focus on technology-related issues with a focus on broadband deployment and the telecommunications regulatory environment. Johnny also served as the Chief of Staff for the New Mexico State Public Regulation Commission. As Chief of Staff, Johnny was a Senior Officer responsible for overseeing eight divisions with the regulatory agency. His responsibilities also included preparing and managing the agency’s $11 million budget and providing support to the commission and staff. Johnny holds a B.B.A. in Marketing Management from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
