White Sands Missile Range, Trinity Test Site
 

  • 7:00- Meet at the AHCC office, 1309 4th St. SW
  • 8:15- Coffee break at Socorro
  • 9:00 Arrival at the Stallion Gate Entrance
  • 9:30-12:00- Self Guided tour at Trinity site
  • 1:00-Lunch at the Owl Café in San Antonio
  • 2:00-3:15 -Return to Albuquerque

FAQ’s
Q1.  Is there a fee?
A1.  No.  There is no fee to visit the Trinity Site open house.
 
Q2.  Are bathrooms available?
A2.  Yes.  Porta potties are available at the site.
 
Q3.  What do I need to do to get on the installation?
A3.  A government-issued photo ID is required for everyone 18 years and over and proof of insurance and registration for your vehicle or rental agreement.  Please see REAL ID information for documentation to be used in lieu of or with a non-compliant state driver's license.
 
Q4.  Do you sell souvenirs/food?
A4.  Souvenirs and food are available for sale at the site.  Cash only.
 
Q5. What are the hours for the open house?
A5.  The Stallion Gate is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The site closes promptly at 3:30 p.m.

Gathering of Nations

The Gathering of Nations is North America’s largest Powwow, with a massive celebration that brings together thousands of Native American dancers and singers representing more than 700 tribes from Canada and the U.S. The event is held annually in Albuquerque on the fourth weekend in April, and is a great event for sharing and learning about Native American cultures.
