Feels like the year is really moving fast before long, my term as board president will come to an end. With that we welcome our five new board members who were voted in during the October meeting. The new board members will be seated during the January meeting.
The Chamber thanks all its sponsors for this year’s Old Fashioned Barbecue. We had a great crowd and our two speakers, Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa and Representative JM Lozano did a great job. Thanks to Kevin Downes, BBQ chairman for moderating the Town Hall atmosphere. Also our committee, staff and Ambassadors did a great job in getting the event organized, decorated and set up for the event.
As we get closer to the Holiday Season, we remind everyone to Shop Alice. Our annual Christmas Parade on November 30^th will kickoff the Holiday Season in the Hub City. If you are interested in participating in this year’s parade contact the staff at 361-664-3454.
