The 80^th Annual Alice Chamber of Commerce Banquet was a huge success. A great deal of thanks go to the Chamber staff and committee who organized the entire event.

Thank you to all our sponsors who purchased tables, tickets, silent auction items etc. Congratulations to all our award recipients: Joe Lozano, Citizen of the Year; Gabriela Ceja, Jr. Citizen of the Year; David Silva, Ambassador of the Year; Hall of Honor Ann Awalt, Mike Cochran and David Silva; Small Business Excellence, Rushing & Gonzalez; Large Business Excellence, CACOST; Employer of the Year, Alice ISD and Organization of the Year Tejano ROOTS.

Thank you to our guest speaker Dr. Mary L. Gonzalez. Her keynote address was quite interesting and heartwarming.

Great things are up ahead as we revamp our website this summer to include mobile apps for all members. More details on this later.
