Connect With VTX1’s New Marketing Communications Manager

VTX1 is pleased to welcome their new addition to their marketing team, Jennifer (Jenny) Hull.  Jenny joins us  bringing over 20 years of marketing, PR and advertising experience.  This is not her first time in the industry. She has 11 years telecom marketing experience and was previously employed as National Marketing Manager for Western Wireless.  She has been the recipient of a CITA award, numerous career Addy awards, received multiple Peak Achievement nominations and was the 2008 Pinnacle award.  She was also honored to receive the Big Hitter award for her industry public relation accomplishments.
 
Jenny’s essential duties as VTCI Marketing Communication Manager are directing creative strategies, managing marketing campaigns, conducting marketing research and spearheading advertising campaigns. In addition, she is VTX1’s public relation contact. She works closely with our industry organizations, local mediums and civic organizations.  Jenny is based out of our Raymondville headquarters and has been busy making market visits in our.  Director of Sales and Marketing, Toni Rivas said, “We are so excited to have Jenny join the VTX1 team. Her knowledge and experience will help us elevate our brand to the next level. Jenny will be instrumental in sharing VTX1’s story of growth from a small rural telephone cooperative formed in 1952 to a technology company serving markets from the border all the way to just south of San Antonio. “
 
Jenny is originally from Tyler, Texas and has been in the valley for the past 17 years. She and her 3 children (Connor-15 1/2, Klein-13 and Ellington-9 1/2) and foster dog a yellow Lab mix (Bubba) live in Harlingen.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing competitive tennis, travel, and reading.
 
As an active member of the community, Jenny serves on the executive board of Harlingen High School PTSA and Memorial Middle School PTA. She also is completing her four year term on Harlingen Country Club Junior Cotillion Executive Committee. She is an active member of PEO-Chapter T and First United Methodist Church in Harlingen.   Other civic duties include; past public relations chair for American Heart Association and American Cancer Society for various events. She has served on the Junior League Board, Algodon Board, Valley Air Care Advisory Board, VBMC Foundation Board, a Chairman for Saint Alban’s TTT, and Journey Preschool Advisory Board.
