The Alice Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is proud to announce the selection of the 2018 Board President Bertha Rodriguez. Bertha was a unanimous selection by the board during our April meeting. She brings great leadership to the board having served as Co-Chair of Relay for Life for several years. Bertha is presently our Membership Vice President and spearheads the By-Laws Committee. She will assume the president office on January 1, 2018.
The Chamber Annual Golf Tournament is around the corner at Alice Municipal Golf Course. The Chamber staff will be looking for hole and ad sponsors for the event. They will also soliciting items for the ditty bags. If you would like to assist or participate in the tourney contact the staff at 361-664-3454.
School will be out this month for many and with that comes kids at home or teens trying to find summer jobs. The summer temperatures are creeping up, if your electric bill is starting to increase, contact the Chamber staff and see how we can help through our electric coalition.
