The Alice Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is proud to announce the selection of the 2019 Board President Mellie Smithwick.  Mellie was a unanimous selection by the board during our April meeting. She brings great leadership to the board and has high values in our community. Mellie currently serves as Vice President – CVB. She will assume the president office on January 1, 2019.
Lemonade Day is this month as our committee organizes the Third Annual Event. Our sponsors are Texas Champion Bank and First Community Bank. We will be looking for 20 teams to participate as well as 20 locations for the young vendors to set up their stands.
The Chamber Annual Golf Tournament is set for July 28^th at the Alice Municipal Golf Course. The Chamber staff will be looking for hole and ad sponsors for the event. They will also be soliciting items for the ditty bags. If you would like to assist or participate in the tourney contact the staff at 361-664-3454.
The summer temperatures are creeping up, if your electric bill is starting to increase, contact the Chamber staff and see how we can help through our electric coalition with Stellar Energy assistance.
