Chamber Golf Tourney July 26th

The Alice Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Summer Golf Classic on Saturday, July 26, 2013 at the Alice Municipal Golf Course.
 
“Last year was a great success and anticipate a bigger turnout this year,” Executive Director Juan Navejar said. “This will be a great tournament with a chance to win some nice prizes.”
 
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Club House. Shotgun Start is at 8:15 a.m. with a three-person scramble – “A” Player Handicap 0-9; “B” Player 10-19 and “C” Player 20 & Over.
 
Players have a chance to win an automobile by making a hole-in-one on the 18^th hole.   Other hole in one chances have players vying for Premium Golf Equipment, Premium Electronic Packages and a choice of Airline Tickets or a Cruise for Two.
 
“We also have a closest to the pin contest as well as prizes for shots made within a certain distance,” Navejar said.
 
Entry fee is $195 per team or $65 per player and includes green fee, cart and lunch.
 
Payout prizes for teams finishing in first, second and third place.
 
Mulligans may be purchased on tourney day.
