Chamber Golf Tourney set for July 28th

The Alice Chamber of Commerce is holding its Annual Golf Classic on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Alice Municipal Golf Course and is looking for Hole and Ad sponsors.
 
“This tournament is one of three fundraisers for the year for our non-dues revenue for the Chamber,” Executive Director Juan Navejar said. “The tourney helps us with our day-to-day operations.”
 
Hole sponsorships are $150 with sponsors having a sign with their name at a specific hole throughout the golf course. Event ad sponsors are $50 and is a business size card ad on our event poster.
 
The tourney tees off at 8 a.m. with registration begining at 7:30 a.m. in the Club House. This is a three-person scramble – “A” Player Handicap 0-9; “B” Player 10-19 and “C” Player 20 & Over. Men and women can be mixed in teams and age/sex appropriate tee boxes will be used.
 
Players have a chance to win an automobile by making a hole-in-one on the 18^th hole sponsored by Stewart Title.  Other hole in one chances have players vying for Premium Golf Equipment, Premium Electronic Packages and a choice of Airline Tickets or a Cruise for Two.
 
Entry fee is $195 per team or $65 per player and includes green fee, cart and lunch.
 
Payout prizes for teams finishing in first, second and third place.
 
Mulligans may be purchased on tourney day. We also have closest to the Pin and Longest Drive contests.
