Alice Native Espinoza to speak at annual banquet

The Alice Chamber of Commerce is marking its 82nd Anniversary at its Annual Banquet on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at the KC Hall with guest speaker Alice native Frank Espinoza, AEP Texas Director of Communications.
“We are pleased to have Frank as our guest speaker as he will share the economic impact of the new AEP Texas facility opening in Alice next month,” Chamber Executive Director Juan Navejar said.   
Frank Espinoza serves as the Director of Communications for AEP Texas, a subsidiary of American Electric Power. Based in Corpus Christi, he is responsible for all internal and external communications activities for the entire company including its advertising and branding strategy.
Frank has held numerous positions during his 35-year career with AEP Texas and most recently served as Manager of External Affairs in the company’s Rio Grande Valley District where he was responsible for managing business and governmental relations for the mid and lower Rio Grande Valley.
He has served on numerous civic boards in the Rio Grande Valley and Corpus Christi. Some of them include: Chairman of the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce, The Rio Grande Valley Partnership, Texas State Technical College Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Harlingen Advisory Board, Harlingen Area Education Foundation, RGV Mentors Advisory Board and Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
A native of Alice, Frank graduated from Alice High School in 1980, and holds degrees from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, The Art Institute of Houston and is certified from the Boston College Institute of Corporate Community Relations.
