Old Fashioned BBQ looking for event sponsors

The Old Fashion Barbecue returned two with great success with the Alice Chamber of Commerce sponsoring the event.

The Old Fashion Barbecue is an invitation only event organized by the Chamber of Commerce and serves an information gathering for its members and guest. Event sponsorship is $600 and allows each sponsor to invite 16 people to the event.

The Old Fashion Barbecue is set for Thursday, October 11^th at the Jim Wells County Fairgrounds Merchants Building and begins at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s guest speaker is Katharine Armstrong, president of Natural Resource Solutions.

Natural Resources Solutions, LC is a consulting firm that specializes in finding practical and innovative solutions to both regulatory and non-regulatory natural resource and environmental issues. Based in Austin, Texas, the NRS team takes a results-oriented approach to natural resource management. With one hundred years of combined experience, NRS has been involved in cultivating solutions for an array of issues and interested parties.
