It’s Christmas time and the weather sure makes it feel like the holidays are right around the corner, not to mention a new year. With that my term as Ambassador president comes to an end this month.
It has been a great year for the Ambassadors. We assisted the Chamber with all their events, the Banquet, Golf Tournament, Old Fashion BBQ, 12 Days of Christmas, ribbon cuttings and of course membership. The Chamber saw an increase of 37 new members in 2011. I believe our goal was 25, so we surpassed it. Thanks to the Juan and Veronica for keeping the Ambassadors up-to-date with all the events but above all for their dedication and hard work they put in each day to keep the Chamber going.
The 12 Days of Christmas continue. So check out the website www.alicetxchamber.org for the up to date info. Or simply drive by the Chamber and see it on the marquee. Don’t forget the Toy Drive on Sunday, Dec. 4th. Simply drive by the Chamber and we will have curb service to pick up your donation. Remember to Shop Alice this holiday season.
