Armstrong speaks at Annual BBQ fundraiser

Dealing with endangered species on lands being drilled in the Eagle Ford Shale was the topic of interest as Natural Resources Solutions president Katharine Armstrong enlightened barbecue attendees this year.
“We have folks creating problems in these drilling shales simply by making a lizard, bird or any creature as being endangered to stop the progress of oil,” Armstrong said. “In West Texas they have attempted to stop drilling by endangering a lizard.”
The Old Fashion Barbecue returned with great success with the Alice Chamber of Commerce sponsoring the event.
The Old Fashion Barbecue was an invitation only event organized by the Chamber of Commerce and serves an information gathering for its members and guest.  
This year’s guest speaker was Katharine Armstrong, president of Natural Resource Solutions.
