From the Board President

Nena Castillo-Pitts

It’s a brand new year and we are ready to start planning out the year. I am Nena Castillo Pitts, the 2015 Board President. As we look forward to another successful year at the Chamber, I need to reflect back at 2014 and give thanks to those who made it possible.

First of all, to Ike Ornelas who led us for the last two years. His great leadership skills were exceptional in leading the board in a positive direction. The staff, Juan Navejar our executive director who keeps the Chamber going daily and Noemi Andrade, admin assistant, you guys do a wonderful job.

Secondly, our Alice Ambassadors who are our working group for the Chamber. Your volunteering allows the Chamber to succeed. The Ambassadors serve as the Official Hosts for the Chamber.

Third, our board members serve to guide and set policy for the staff. We thank our out-going board members Ofelia Hunter, Dorella Elizondo, Judy Kapoor, Ted Bearden and Michael Garcia who also served as president.

Lastly, it’s you the Chamber Member whom we are here for. Without your commitment and support, we could not be where we are now. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to another awesome year in 2015.
