From the Board President

The 75th Annual Alice Chamber of Commerce Banquet was a huge success. A great deal of thanks go to the Chamber staff, Juan and Veronica who organized the entire event.
Thank you to all our sponsors who purchased tables, tickets, silent auction items etc. Congratulations to all our award recipients: Nena Pitts, Citizen of the Year; Andres M. Elizondo III, Jr. Citizen of the Year; Nicole Perez-Morris, Ambassador of the Year; Hall of Honor Gilbert Aguirre, John Bedgood, Manuel Esparza; Small Business Excellence, Rosas Funeral Home; Large Business Excellene, L&F Distributors and Employer of the Year, First Community Bank.
Thank you to our guest speaker Dr. Anne J. Matula, President of the Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend. Her keynote address was quite interesting detailing the history of Alice and the importance of where we are headed.
The Chamber continuous to work for its members, in March 3734 direct quarries were made on the website with a total number of website visitors at 142704 for the month. We appreciate and thank all of our members for their support.
