From the Board President

The Alice Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is proud to announce the selection of the 2013 Board President Ike Ornelas. Ike was a unanimous selection by the board during our April meeting. He brings great leadership to the board as a businessman and has high value in our community. Ike currently serves as Vice President – Economic Development and represents the board on the Alice Jim Wells County EDC. He will assume the president office on January 1, 2013.
The Chamber Annual Golf Tournament is next month at the Alice Municipal Golf Course. The Chamber staff is presently looking for hole and ad sponsors for the event. They are also soliciting items for the ditty bags. If you would like to assist or participate in the tourney contact the staff at 361-664-3454.
Our annual membership drive is underway. While you are already a member, you might know of someone or have an entity you do business who is not a member. We ask you to spread the word of our drive. They can contact any Alice Ambassador or staff member for more information or about member benefits.
