A big congratulations to the Chamber staff for yet another award from the Texas Chamber Executives for the Program of the Year in Education. We have a dedicated staff that is here for its members and these awards are evident of that.
We welcome our five new board members who will take their place on the Chamber Board of Directors in January under new Board President Ike Ornelas. The five new board members are Dr. Patricia Candia, Hector Hinojosa, Ella Munoz, Jack Nix and Dr. Roel Valadez Jr. DDS. The five board members were approved by the current directors during the October meeting.
Some new changes are coming to the Chamber beginning with the remodeling campaign led by Ike Ornelas. We will see a new look both inside and outside. Because of the new changes inside the board room, the board of directors approved some new changes for the use of conference room beginning in January 2013. The conference room will only be available for meetings. A maintenance fee will be applied as well. Contact the Chamber for more information about the change in the building use.
