It’s election time not just at the Courthouse but for the Alice Ambassadors as well. The Ambassadors will reconvene on Monday for their monthly meeting in which we will elect the 2013 officers. I encourage all the Ambassadors to attend this meeting. Also if you have not voted in the General Election, go out and support the candidates of your choice on Tuesday. We wish everyone the best.
Congratulations to Juan and Veronica for being recognized by the Texas Chamber Executives on their award. Way to go guys, we are proud of you. Speaking of congratulations, what a great barbecue last month. Thank you Alice Ambassadors who helped set up, clean up and through the entire event as hosts and hostesses. And thank you to the sponsors who made this event possible.
The Chamber is having a Winter Golf Tournament on Saturday, December 1,2012 at the Alice Municipal Golf Course. The tourney is a three-person scramble with an 8 am shot-gun start. We will be helping at the event by selling Mulligans, raffle tickets and assist throughout the tournament. The Chamber is selling hole sponsorships for $100 and ad for the event poster for $40 contact them for more information.
