The Alice Ambassadors continue their mission of serving others this year. On May 23, Nena Castillo Pitts, Dee Dee Arismendez, Clare Atkinson Wonders, myself as well as Chamber Executive Director Juan Navejar, Jr., EDC Director Warren Ketteman and his wife spent several hours clearing the lawn and parking lot of the chamber office of leaves and weeds. Nearly 70 bags worth of leaves were raked up by the group! We are doing our part to set an example as we work to beautify the downtown area. Our work now turns to the Chamber of Commerce annual banquet. Ambassadors are busily gathering items for the silent auction and will be volunteering their time to help ensure the event runs smoothly.
