The Chamber staff is working hard to get the 79^th Annual Chamber banquet organized. Our guest speaker is Dr. Thomas Tunstall, Director of Economic Development for UTSA. He is quite knowledgeable with the needs of the South Texas oil and gas industries. We will name the Citizen and Jr. Citizen of the Year, Small and Business Excellence Awards and the Business of the Year at the banquet.
The banquet is the Chamber’s biggest fundraiser of the year that helps with the day-to-day operations. Sponsor tables are being sold by the Chamber staff. If you would like a table or individual tickets contact the staff.  A silent auction will also be held at the banquet. If your business would like to donate and item for the auction, contact the staff.
The last couple of months have been busy at the Chamber with contacts being made from new businesses who want to relocate to Alice or the area in order to help diversify our economic shortfall.
The Chamber also started the Shop Alice – Keep it Local campaign with a short video on its Facebook Page along with a new Twitter account. Follow us and Like Us to help our business continue to grow.
