Running a small business can be a learning experience and rewarding is what some Alice students found out during this year’s Lemonade Day with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Alice Food Pantry.
Alice Police Lt Hector Zertuche Jr was named as the 2017 Law Officer of the Year during the 26th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner sponsored by the Coyote Cooks, Alice Chamber of Commerce and the Law Appreciation Committee.

A congratulations to the Chamber staff, the Chamber is a finalist with the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) Media awards in two categories this year – Brochures and Marketing. Award recipients will be announced later this month at the Annual TCCE conference in Houston. We wish them the best.
The South Texas temperatures are beginning to rise and with that the costs of keeping your business cool and not breaking your pocket book are on the rise. The bottom line of running a successful business is to make all your dollars count. Cutting back unnecessary energy use keeps hard-earned money in your pocket.
