Open House

The Alice Chamber of Commerce and the Alice Jim Wells County Economic Development held an Open House on Thursday, August 30, 2012. More than 50 guests dropped by the Chamber/EDC offices. The Chamber also welcomed new EDC Director Warren Ketteman. Texas Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa stopped by as well.

Helena's Home Cooking held a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, August 10, 2012. The new restaurant is located at 1103 S. Reynolds and is owned by Helena Alfaro.

Community Action of the Coastal Bend held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new home built under the Homeowner Rehabilitation Assistance Program. The new home replaced a 50 year old home on Rosario Street.
