The band is collecting themed baskets and items or service certificates to sell at silent auctions during these dinners. 
 
They are also seeking corporate and individual sponsors to offset the costs of the event. 
 
The band has participated in the National Cherry Blossom Festival, performed in the Apple Blossom festival, the Atlanta Peach Bowl, the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, and the National Veterans Day Parade.  The band was nominated by the Florida Department of Education and the Governor to represent Florida in the National Memorial Day Parade. 

Bartow Middle School never thought they would get a bid to Nationals. They did...but it looks like they will not be able to go. They have tried to raise enough funds in a short period of time but it has not been enough.
