Third Annual Turkey Chase Set

 Again this year, non-perishable food items will be collected for the Church Service Center. The Church Service Center provides emergency assistance to persons in need.
The race starts and finishes on Jackson Street and will take participants past several parks including Nye Jordan and around Wilson Lake in Summerlin Park.
Individual awards will include; Overall Male/Female, Overall Master (40+) Male/Female, and Overall Wheelchair Male/Female in the 5K race. The standard five year age group awards will also be given (at least three deep) in the 5K race with no duplication of awards. Participants in the 2K Walk will battle to finish in the top three male and top three female, but all participants will receive a finisher ribbon. Team awards include largest team and most non-perishable food items donated.
Participants may register at the Parks & Recreation Office or online at www.active.com. A processing fee is charged in addition to the entry fee when registering online.
The individual entry fee is $18 if you pre-register by November 8 or $21 after the 8. All participants who pre-register will get a shirt in their size.
Participants may also register as a team, available in-person or by mail. Team registration discounts are based on the number of people registered. The discounts are as follows: 10 to 29 members, $16.00/person; 30 to 49 members, $14.00/person; 50+ members, $12.01/person.
