NOW YOU CAN RENEW YOUR LICENSE IN BARTOW
It’s time to renew your license and you remember the price you had to pay last time – the inconvenience of driving out of town, all of those forms you had to track down for Homeland Security. If you forgot a piece of documentation, it was back to Bartow, then a trip back to the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in the other town, and back in line. Sometimes the wait was short, but in most years, it seemed like forever.
     Sound familiar?
Now you no longer have to fear the DMV – there’s hope for a quick and easy experience when updating your license. The Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will soon “roll” its Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW) to DMAR Business Centers USA, LLC on Wednesday, March 18 in Bartow. DMAR, located at 300 E. Summerlin Street, Bartow, 33830, will play host to FLOW the third Wednesday of each month for the next five months, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. And, if the FLOW community outreach specialists feel the need is great enough, FLOW will continue to offer state licensing services in Bartow for the remainder of the year and beyond.
Here’s what you can get from Bartow’s FLOW:
      First time licenses
      Convert out of state license
      Renewals
      Replacements
      Address/name changes
      ID cards
      Reinstatements
      Emergency Contact Information Registration
      Vehicle Registration Renewals
Disabled Parking Placard Issuance and Renewals, (there are some restrictions on this, see the website below).
For a list of what documentation you may need, visit www.gathergoget.com or call (850) 617-3995. FLOW 2015 scheduled dates for Bartow are: Mar. 18, April 15, May 13, June 17, July 15. For information about the FLOW program, contact a Community Outreach Specialist at (352) 284-0039 or visitwww3.flhsmv.gov/ddl/flowmobile/index.cfm.
