     Now you no longer have to fear the DMV – there’s hope for a quick and easy experience when updating your license. The Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will soon “roll” its Florida Licensing on Wheels (FLOW) to DMAR Business Centers USA, LLC on Wednesday, March 18 in Bartow. DMAR, located at 300 E. Summerlin Street, Bartow, 33830, will play host to FLOW the third Wednesday of each month for the next five months, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For a list of what documentation you may need, visit www.gathergoget.com or call (850) 617-3995. 2015 CARILLON CLASSIC
     Laying out a new 5K course and bringing additional corporate sponsors on board are among the top priorities of the committee in charge of the 2015 Carillon Classic 5K Run & Walk, a charity fundraiser of the Dick Pope/Polk County Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). Now in its fourth year, the Carillon Classic 5K Run & Walk is set for Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales. All proceeds will go to the George W. APPLY FOR FREE PR EXPERTISE
     Polk County-based nonprofits and small businesses now have the opportunity to apply for free professional public relations 
expertise under a new community service project of the  Dick Pope/Polk County chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) called “ER for PR.” Owners of independently owned small businesses with 25 or fewer employees and nonprofit organizations can start the process by visiting  and filling out an application listing their specific PR needs.  All applications must be submitted 
online by 12:00 noon on March 11, 2015. The Dick Pope/Polk County FPRA chapter offers professional development

JSL: PROCEEDS FROM SHRIMP AND GRITS
SALE TO BENEFIT BHS CHEERLEADERS

     Junior Service League of Bartow members will be donating the proceeds from selling their famous Shrimp and Grits during March's Friday Fest. The money raised will be given to the BHS cheerleaders to help defray the costs of the cheerleaders' state championship rings. Please remember to stop by on March 20, 6:00 p.m. and eat dinner with the Junior Service League!

MADRID ENGINEERING ANNOUNCES NEW CEI HEAD
(CEI JOBS AVAILABLE)

Danny Tidwell is the newest member of Madrid Engineering's leadership team, taking over the CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection) department which includes the materials testing arm. Tidwell has nearly 40 years of experience, primarily in the road building sector and managing or working on FDOT projects. Previous projects include the I-595 interchange - at the time the largest project ever undertaken by the FDOT. He has worked as a consultant all over the State of Florida for most of the FDOT Districts including the Turnpike Authority, and he has been project manager for several districtwide CEI contracts. Tidwell's responsibilities include training, hiring new personnel, project management and business development. CEI jobs are available at Madrid.
