INTO THE JUNGLE OF CONFLICT

This workshop provides participants with the confidence and tools to take on the challenges and opportunities that occur within conflict.

During this workshop, participants:
• Discuss the parallels between conflict and a jungle.
• Define confrontation, negotiation, and mediation.
• Explore five conflict styles and predict the outcome of confrontations based on these styles.
• Work through personal conflicts and determine how to distill issues into basic language, identify stakeholders, distinguish the interests involved and outline the pathway to a positive outcome.
• Identify effective steps for conflict resolution.
• Explore various behavioral and psychological components that can be used to bring parties to a consensus.
• Determine common errors in negotiation that can escalate conflict.

After graduating at age 20 from law school, J. Lenora Bresler, J.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, ASC, has worked in numerous fields, most recently as a leadership and engagement speaker, author, trainer, and coach. She specializes in helping individuals create great leaders, teams, and relationships through personal development.
