WATSON CLINIC HIGHLANDS OPEN HOUSE AND
LAKELAND CHAMBER RIBBON-CUTTING

The public unveiling of Watson Clinic’s 17th location – Watson Clinic Highlands – has been set to take place on Wednesday, September 23 from 3 pm to 7 pm during a special open house event and ribbon cutting ceremony.

During the event, attendees can tour the beautiful 38,000-square foot facility located at 2300 E. County Rd. 540 A in south Lakeland, meet and greet the physicians and additional medical providers who will practice from the new location, and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. Tours of the facility begin at 3 pm, and a ribbon cutting presentation will take place at 4 pm.

Watson Clinic Highlands will house all the services and medical specialist that currently reside in the Clinic’s Lakeland Highlands offices, including family medicine, OB-GYN, dermatology and XpressCare.  The new Highlands location offers the convenience of more than double the square footage of the Lakeland Highlands offices, which are scheduled to close once the new location opens for patient appointments starting on Monday, September 28.  All appointments with Lakeland Highlands specialists, which are scheduled to take place on or after that date will be at the new Watson Clinic Highlands facility.

The new medical building will introduce several Watson Clinic departments to the south Lakeland area for the first time in their history, including ENT, facial plastic surgery and a Hearing Center starting on October 12. Providers from these departments will rotate their time between the Bella Vista Building and their new offices at Highlands.

In addition, the facility will offer a comprehensive laboratory and the convenience of on-site radiology capabilities, including x-ray, CAT scan, ultrasound, DEXA bone density scanning and 3D mammography.

Saturday, September 26, 2015
12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Tindale Oliver is pleased to announce its first Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Summerfield Crossings Golf Club on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Organizers are seeking your help to make this event a success and hope you’ll come out to the greens to support a great cause.

Shriners Hospitals for Children® – Tampa is the beneficiary of this tournament. All sponsorship proceeds will directly support the hospital’s mission of providing the highest quality care to children with orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions. All care is provided in a family centered, child friendly environment regardless of the patient or family’s ability to pay. Your support means every member of the Shriners staff—surgeons, therapists, nurses, orthotists—can continue to bring Love to the rescue® and transform the lives of children throughout the state of Florida and South Georgia.

The tournament provides many opportunities for you to promote your business while you support the Tampa Shriners Hospital. The event is open to all golfers, both serious and casual, and our goal is for everyone to have fun!

There will be several exciting contests and raffles happening throughout the day. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the three contests – putting contest, longest drive, and closest to the pin. There will also be a 50/50 raffle for cash, as well as a raffle during dinner for great items including Busch Gardens tickets and USF Football tickets. Please note that all raffle ticket purchases are CASH ONLY.
