FROM THE PRESIDENT:

     In addition, from time to time the Clerk's Office invites local school classrooms to City Hall for an educational program titled, "City of Yuck," (created by former City Clerk Linda Culpepper). The office also manages the Mayor's Youth Council.
    When you talk to Jacki, it is very apparent that she loves her job. I asked her what her favorite part of the job was. She said that her job was like a puzzle and that she enjoyed putting and keeping the pieces of the puzzle together and the satisfaction of seeing the efforts of her department function efficiently.
     Jacki is also a member of the Crickette Club of Bartow, the Florida State Certified Public Managers Program, the 2016 Relay for Life Event Leader for the Survivor's dinner, former chairperson for the City of Bartow United Way campaign, a Leadership Bartow XIV graduate and she has received the Master Municipal Clerk designation in April, 2015.
     Yes, to say that Jacki Poole, our City Clerk, is a busy woman is an understatement and I have not even touched the surface of all that she does for us. We are in good hands here in Bartow.
