FROM THE PRESIDENT:

I am very proud to have been asked to serve as President of the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce. Following all of the great leaders who have presided over the Chamber, including last year’s President, Myrtice Young, is quite humbling. I certainly have big shoes to fill.
For those of you who think the Bartow Chamber is for the few, I assure you that there is a place for every business and professional person on the Bartow Chamber rolls. Whether your interest is economic development, legislative matters, promotion, civic and community affairs, leadership development or education, the Bartow Chamber provides the necessary channel through which action can be taken to improve and build the community.
I look forward to working with my fellow Board members, the Chamber staff and volunteers in the coming year. I hope to see all of you at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on January 24 as we experience an "Evening in Paris.” This will be an exciting event and serve to start 2015 with a great celebration.
Remember, if you have story ideas, or suggestions for the Chamber Weekly Newsletter, please contact Virginia Condello. And, as always, keep in touch with the Chamber’s Facebook page and website. Thank you, again, for your support!
