FROM THE PRESIDENT:

The Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce's direction has been fairly constant these last 10 years or so. With the mission of promoting business and economic development for the benefit of our community, the Chamber has been actively working on behalf of the City, and truly is the City of Bartow's best cheerleader.
Of course, Executive Director Jeff Clark will be quick to tell you that the accomplishments are the direct result of partnerships between the Chamber, City of Bartow, Bartow's Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Main Street Bartow.
Our community is a constant work in progress, and without cooperation between these decision-making organizations, most of the work would go undone, or each organization would be duplicating the others' efforts that will result in a loss of time and resources.
According to City Manager George Long, a team of economic development stakeholders from these organizations is being put together now. This team will develop a plan that will make the best use of resources available to benefit Bartow.
I challenge you to engage yourself and/or your business by contacting one of these partners and share your thoughts and ideas about Bartow's future.
Until next time,
Sharon Casey
Community Southern Bank, VP
